Form I-9 is changing. US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) issued a new form on August 1 with multiple changes.

In addition, verification of remote employees’ documents is changing. COVID flexibility ended on July 31, and employers must scramble to complete physical document examinations for all employees hired within the last 3 years – unless they qualify for the new alternative procedure.
